My name is Daniella Lopez Valdez and I am your candidate for BISD Trustee Place 5.
I was born and raised in Brownsville, TX; daughter to Joey and Sylvia Lopez. My mother has been a teacher for 36 years, and my family represents five generations of public service. I truly believe that the students and teachers come first. Education is the foundation for a prosperous future for our community.

Leadership based on the foundation of integrity, honesty and public service
The safety and well-being of the teachers and students with a modern and innovative approach
Raising teachers salaries to be at market with the rest of Texas educators
Fiscal responsibility
Health & wellness to ensure a higher quality of life for the community
As your elected board of trustee member, I will dedicate my time to serving the educators and students of the Brownsville Independent School District.
