I was born and raised in Brownsville, TX; daughter to Joey and Sylvia Lopez. My mother has been a teacher for 36 years, and my family represents five generations of public service. I truly believe that the students and teachers come first. Education is the foundation for a prosperous future for our community.
Now more than ever, innovation, fresh perspective and integrity are crucial for the benefit of the future generation.
